  本单元主要是要求学生能够用一般现在时描述自己的朋友的基本情况,理解本单元的主题故事。复习前五单元的语音知识,核心词汇和主要句型。通过故事内容,让学生建立正常的友谊关系,通过网络拓展视野。通过大量的语言实践和语言教学活动,让学生通过仔细观察,认真比较,归纳等方法,加深对前五个单元学习内容的理解。通过复习活动,培养学生形成有效的学习策略。让学生了解加拿大,墨西哥等国家的有关情况,培养学生跨文化交际的意识。

  过程方法:

  训练目的:本节课主要训练学生观察能力,用英语回答问题、提出问题并能交际的能力。

  教学目标:挖掘教材内容,初步了解课文大意。

  教学准备:

  教学过程:

  step1. 老师用学生熟知的话题导入新课,便于学生进入学习状态,同时为下面的学习作语言铺垫。detailed ways:t: do you have any pen pals?

  t: how do you keep in touch?

  ss:letter, e-mail,qq…

  step2.结合刚才的话题,自然引入学习的主要话题---e-mail.

  老师出示一张电子邮件图片,提问:t:  what’s this?

  ss:an e-mail 

  t: do you have an e-mail friend?

  ss:yes, i do.

  no, i don’t.

  t: do you have a key pal on qq or msn?

  step3. 首先问题很简单,没有规定答案,给学生开口说英语的机会。通过学生的观察,开拓学生的思维,展开讨论课文话题。(整体了解课文)

  1.老师出示课文图片并提问:

  2) what are they talking about?

  step4. 训练学生结合问题听内容、回答问题的能力。(了解课文的主要大意)。且教育学生按时完成作业,并且养成做家务的好习惯。

  step5. 出示关键问题,培养学生观察,并为下面学生自己提出问题做好铺垫。
